About Designer:
I was born in the UK; you don’t go to a wedding there without something adorning your head. We all fell in love with Kate last year and I am so excited to see this timeless tradition reach our shores. I also lived in Melbourne Australia where I made and wore my first fascinator to the races! I dreamed of the day when I could share this passion with fellow Vancouverites! The time is NOW
The goal of the workshop is for you to make your own unique fascinator in a fun and relaxed group setting, tutored and guided through the creative process by experienced designer Caroline Calvert.
A great Stagette party idea or Birthday Party
Fascinator Workshops make a great stagette party theme, an idea for a birthday party activity or simply as the focus for a get-together with a group of friends.
I learned how to make a “real cup of tea” from my granddad in England when I was little. I grew up drinking tea and LOVE it (I am English after all) you can opt to include tea served on gorgeous vintage china that will make this a super girly event!
No special skills required
The workshops don’t require you to have any super amazing skills with the needle and thread. We will help and guide you as much or as little as needed.
Booking a party
Location:
Our Fascinator Workshops are hosted in my gorgeous laneway studio Located at 64 West 44th Ave in Vancouver (the little house behind my big house) it’s cozy and perfect for an afternoon or evening with your friends.
Group Numbers:
We do require a minimum of 4 people; if you can raise a party of 8 then the organizer goes free! We can accommodate larger groups too just let us know. We prefer booking to be made at least two weeks in advance with flexibility on dates and times availability permitting.
Time:
Each workshop is 3 hours long.
Materials Included:
For bookings you can select from a variety of workshop themes and packages that encompass a treasure trove of decorative items such as crystal brooches fresh water pearls, beads, lace, Swarovski crystals, feathers, satin and velvet. Let us know your custom color choices so we can match your color theme for the perfect wedding accessories.
Cost:
$125 per person which includes all materials for your own unique creation that you take home and an afternoon of fun memories with friends….
